Help sustain Belvedere’s natural beauty and quality of life by encouraging and funding projects that enhance our community, cultivate generosity, and inspire volunteerism among all residents.
Our mission
Our projects
We support community traditions like Concerts-in-the-Park, invest in our kids with new library books and school buses, care for our seniors, and tend to our parks and landscapes to enhance the lives of everyone in Belvedere.
Volunteer opportunities
We’re all about inspiring generosity and volunteerism in our community. Check back here for opportunities to get involved.
Have a question about BCF?
-
No. We communicate closely with the city to understand priorities and needs but we are not a city organization and we are not supported by tax dollars. If a city-led project needs additional funding, the city may approach BCF for a supporting grant. BCF will consider offering financial support to the city if the project aligns with BCF’s mission.
-
We accept donations all year. You can donate online, by check, wire, through an IRA, donor advised fund, or as part of your estate planning. See all the options and donate in less than 5 minutes on our donations page here.

We look for projects that beautify the landscape of Belvedere (GreenTeam, Harvey’s Garden, Richardson Bay Audubon Center), bring the community together (Concerts-in-the-Park, Belvedere Home Made Film Festival, Art Gallery at Belvedere Tiburon Library), promote safety (Belvedere Block Captains, Get Ready to Go 94920), support students (Tiburon Peninsula Traffic Alliance (previously Yellow Bus Challenge), Reed and Bel Aire Elementary Schools), preserve our history (Landmarks Society) and inspire volunteerism in our community (Marin Villages, St. Vincent’s Meal Bag Project). The blooming flower bed you’re walking by, the concert you’re enjoying, or the water fountain you’re drinking from just may be the work of the BCF! You can see a full list of funded projects here.

Advisory Trustees are volunteers who spread the word about BCF. Advisory Trustees can also choose to volunteer to support the BCF in various ways: planning events, recommending projects for grants, and contributing to BCF communications.
