Annual Photography Contest

The Belvedere Community Foundation is sponsoring the Ninth
Annual Photography Contest this fall to celebrate the “Beauty
and Spirit” of Belvedere. Professional and amateur
photographers have enjoyed capturing the stunning nature
of Belvedere in this annual event.
Last year seventeen entrants submitted entries. The Judges
were Nancy Gale, Diane Bradley and Ann Aylwin.

This year’s photography contest will be exhibited
in the Belvedere-Tiburon Library from Monday, September
20 to Saturday, October 2, 2010. A public reception to
honor the entrants will be held on Wednesday, September
22, 2010 from 4-5pm when the winners will be announced.
Prizes (First, Second and Third Place) will be awarded
as well as a “People’s Choice” prize
to an entry selected by visitors to the exhibit. There
will also be a junior contest for photographers from preschool
through high school age.
Third Place Winner Diane Smith
The contest is open to everyone. Photographs must reflect
some aspect of Belvedere in color or black & white.
There is no fee, but a limit of two photographs per entrant.
Size limit is 24” x 24” including mat and frame.
All photographs must be framed and ready to hang. Entries
must be submitted September 21, 2010 at the Library
