Ark Row Art Festival
 The
Belvedere Community Foundation provided $1,000 grant to
help the Tiburon Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Development
Committee stage a two-day art festival along Ark Row on
August 25th and 26th, 2007 August 26. The Ark Row Art Festival
contributed greatly to the life of the community and appealed
to local residents and art enthusiasts. The success in
attracting the best of Bay Area artists was enhanced by
engaging as jurors Kenneth Baker, San Francisco Chronicle
art critic, and Dr. Lynn Orr, curator of European paintings
for the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco. Artists booths
were set up along the street and sidewalk of Ark Row. Music
and food contributed to the festive atmosphere for browsing
and purchasing quality, contemporary art. Festival committee
members included Jaleh Etemad, Ginny Doyle, Laleh Zelinsky,
Asher Rubin, Tom Wright, Deborah Molinar, Nina Gerrity,
Angelo Servino, Robert James, and Chris Koehler.
